Smile and the world smiles back   Leave a comment

Waking up and feeling like the world is on a mission to make you feel down isn’t the nicest sentiment. Some may blame it on “waking up on the wrong side of bed” but I would more appropriately put it down to the way that your inner affects your outer – an inside-out approach. By this, I mean that your attitude will ultimately affect your environment and the extent to which you take the most out of your experiences. By simply smiling your day will be enhanced in ways you can’t imagine. It’s something about this effortless act that has the funny psychological effect of improving your entire wellbeing. Try it! I’m sure you’ve all got something to smile about, and even if you feel you don’t, a forced grin works wonders. You’d be amazed at how much an agent of change a smile really is! Not only does it influence your own wellbeing, but also that of the people around you. Smiling has something of a reciprocal nature as well: you smile, people smile back, and in the end the smile comes back to you! So go ahead and smile; change your world by simply lifting the corners of your lips.
